TRIVEX
is a surgical technique for varicose vein removal. With this process the surgeon removes the vein using a small, powered, surgical device while viewing the vein with a transilluminating light. This method enables the surgeon to remove the veins using a minimal number of small incisions and short operating times. This results in an easier recovery for the patient and good cosmetic results.

  • Outpatient procedure
  • Typically 1 to 2 hours depending on severity
  • Recovery time typically less than 7 days

VNUS Closure Procedure
is a minimally invasive treatment alternative for patients with venous reflux, which often results in varicose veins. With this process a thin catheter is inserted into the vein through a small opening. The catheter delivers radiofrequency energy to the vein wall causing it to heat, collapse, and close. Once the diseased vein is closed the remaining healthy veins take over.

  • Outpatient procedure
  • Typically 1 to 2 hours depending on severity
  • Recovery time typically 2-7 days

Sclerotherapy
is an office procedure used to treat smaller varicose and spider veins. The procedure involves saline injections with a tiny needle which collapses the veins and makes them no longer visible. Several sclerotherapy sessions may be required for a vein region.

  • Outpatient procedure
  • Typically 45 minutes to 1 hour
  • Recovery time minimal
